The Wanderer's Respite

Out of Character and general Rules of the Wanderer's Respite and EGFRULE 1: Treat others as you wish to be treated. Don't be a dick - No harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism or hate speech. Banter is fine if done in jest, but targeting members with harassment is not okay. If someone feels targeted/harassed and they tell you to stop, stop.RULE 2: Conflict resolution. If you feel like you can’t fully resolve it between yourselves or need another voice then contact an admin. Try to remember that if someone ticks you off or gets under your skin, give them a double take first, or communicate to them clearly about the matter.RULE 3: Be mindful of the opinions and beliefs of others. This is particularly relevant for topics that can induce discomfort for other members due to sensitive, provocative, or socially offensive subjects (as determined by common sense and community norms).RULE 4: Mod/ Plugin use. Whilst there are members who use such third party tools, remember that at the end of the day we should still do our best to abide by FFXIV Terms of Service. Modded screenshots are permitted in the screenshots channel. However, we do ask that any sharing of mods is not done here.
We also ask that all Fighters and Guests to NOT TALK about mods or third party tools (Dalamud/ Mare Synchronos) whilst on Respite grounds or within any [CW]LS owned by Respite/EGF staff.
RULE 5: Age Rating. The Discord as a whole follows the rating of the game [NA - T for Teen and EU PEGI-13 (this is 13-16)]. Whilst we are all adults here, we do not accept publicly E-RPing in game or sharing Explicit material on the discord.RULE 6: Don't do anything we wouldn't do…

Rules and guidelines for In character RP within the Wanderer's Respite and EGFRULE 1: Above all other rules listed below, we ask that anyone wishing/ planning something that might disrupt the event and venue to ask for consent from the Owner Hartgeim Ubyltwuyn and/or the Host of the event before proceeding. We are all here to enjoy ourselves.RULE 2: Whether it is player staff or NPC the Respite always has security on location, as such any criminal activity or disturbances/ conflict will and should be moved outside during an event.RULE 3: The Respite grounds has warding and protections in place for malicious aetheric use, including Voidsent and Ashkin. As such effects of spells or such creatures will be severely weakened and dampened within the premise.RULE 4: The Cage Arena has a protective aura within it that is used to protect anyone within from lethal damage, whilst bruises, cuts, busted/ bloodied faces and even at an extreme, broken bones can occur. The power of the barrier will increase to such a degree to prevent any mortal injuries being inflicted upon anyone inside.RULE 5: Whilst we have a menu and a vague price range for people staying within the rooms of the Respite, we don't exchange any actual in game currency, it is all for flavour of the Roleplay.

*Addition to above rules: We are not opposed or against characters coming to an event to watch or enjoy themselves if that character may be wanted, a criminal, or have a unique trait that might seem taboo or fringe Roleplay, all we ask is that people use common-sense and to be civil on the grounds and to take any personal matters outside.
